Cybercrime judges visit London...
In November 2024, the Foundation organised a three day programme for visiting judges from the cessation courts in Cairo and Alexandria in conjunction with the British Embassy in Cairo and the United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime. (UNODC)
The fourteen judges, lead by UNODC Judge Ihab Al-Minabbawy visited London to engage with UK experts in the field of cybercrime. The programme organised by the Foundation provided the opportunity to hear sessions from leading academics in the field and observe cases in session as visitors at the Royal Courts of Justice and Supreme Court. During the programme of presentations, there were open question and answer sessions allowing for a broad range of information exchange on the topic and techniques used in the UK including sentencing.
